With fall semester in full swing, your schedule might be packed with classes, study sessions and some much-needed coffee breaks.

So, for those of you who have been busy hitting the books, here are 10 sports highlights you might have missed this semester.

1. Freshman volleyball player, Kellee Geren, is recognized for the third time this 2016 season as the AAC Setter of the Week, leading the conference with 9.3 assists per set and 583 sets in total.

2. Cycling takes seventh place at Track National Championships.

3. Sophomore women’s tennis player, Lexie Hill, picks up her first win with straight sets against Covenant College.

4. Overtime penalty kick gives men’s soccer Buffs a win at the University of the Cumberlands, finishing the game with a score of 1-0.

5. Four Buffs earn the title of Player of the Week honors – three volleyball players and one women’s soccer player.

6. Grace Ann Moorhouse receives her second AAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the 2016 season.

7. Marissa Langford earns AAC Volleyball Attacker of the Week.

8. Charlotte Stephens wins Defensive Player of the Week for women’s soccer.

9. Men’s tennis doubles partners, Conly Shults and Will Blackmarr, fight hard but ultimately fall to Covenant College with a final score of 9-8.

10. Junior women’s soccer player, Brittany Davis, scores the first goal of the game against Emory and Henry, which also becomes her first goal of the season.
