April 24, the Milligan College theater department performed its first fully mounted stage production in the new Gregory Center: William Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors."
On Monday, the Milligan College Jazz Ensemble, with special guest soloist Sloan Hill, kicked off the last week of classes with their seventh annual spring concert in Seeger Chapel.
"The Phoenix," Milligan's annually-published literary journal, held its release celebration in the library's Welshimer Room Monday evening. Every spring, "The Phoenix" is reborn with a new compilation of student and faculty works, put together by a new staff.
Tuesday evening Milligan students, faculty and alumni crowded outside the Gregory Center doors for the opening of the 22nd annual Festival of One-Acts and Short Films.
Think back to that time when you were a kid sitting in the theater with your parents, holding a giant tub of popcorn. The smells, the sounds, the flicker of the projector: these are the things I remember the first time I went to the movies. Well, that and the frightening cackle of the Joker.
