Milligan Cycling claimed three national titles and 12 additional podium finishes at the 2025 Collegiate Track National Championships, held Sept. 11–14 in Indianapolis.
In the men’s individual pursuit, Riley Wrightsman captured the title of national champion. Brody McDonald won the men’s points race—one of the mass start events—and also placed third in the scratch race.. The team’s third national title came in the men’s team pursuit. McDonald, Dillon Geary, Wrightsman and Ronald Shindell won the event with a time of 4:22.796, finishing about a second ahead of second place.
“It was so good to see the boys winning the team pursuit again and defending their title,” said junior Kaya Schröder.
Geary also finished as national runner-up in the points race and took bronze in the kilo time trial and individual pursuit. He shared the bronze medal in the individual pursuit with McDonald.
On the women’s side, the team of Javiera Garrido Muñoz, Samantha Clark, Megan Lester and Schröder placed third in the team pursuit. Garrido Muñoz also earned national runner-up finishes in the women’s kilo time trial, scratch race and point race, and added third-place finishes in the sprint and individual pursuit.
“It’s an incredible feeling being part of such a strong team, and it enables one to give it all and make the team even stronger,” Schröder said.
The men’s and women’s teams also combined for a third-place finish in the co-ed team sprint, with Garrido Muñoz, McDonald, Geary, Wrightsman and Carsten Baker representing Milligan.
