Milligan University teams concluded their fall athletics season with postseason appearances and national-level performances across multiple sports.

The women’s cross-country team placed second at the NAIA national championships in Tallahassee, Florida. Senior Ellen-Mary Kearney finished second overall in the women’s 6,000 meters with a time of 20:43.6. The men’s cross – country, seeded ninth, finished eighth. Bryson Lewis was the men’s top finisher,  placing 48th in the 8,000 meters. Several team members dyed their hair yellow before competition. 

Women’s cycling placed third in the team pursuit event at nationals in Indianapolis. The men’s cycling team earned three national titles, winning the men’s pursuit, with Riley Wrightsman taking first in the men’s individual pursuit and Brody McDonald winning the men’s points race.

Women’s soccer ended its season in the AAC Tournament with a 1–0 loss to Tennessee Wesleyan. The Buffs finished 11-5-3. The men’s soccer team advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament in Austell, Georgia, where it lost 4–0 to Life University. The team finished the season 12-2-7. 

Women’s volleyball concluded its season at the AAC Tournament in Kingsport with a 3–2 loss to Union Commonwealth University. Shelby Miller earned an All-AAC First Team selection.

Milligan athletics completed the fall semester with postseason representation in multiple sports and several national-level results.
