With several academic programs suspended, Milligan students are adjusting their spring schedules and finding alternative courses to stay on track. While some feel stressed about their majors and future careers, the administration is working with advisors to help students complete their degrees.
Milligan’s new student food pantry is located in the Gilliam Wellness Center. It was created to support students with limited meal access during campus breaks. Open to all students, it provides free food and essentials, with plans to expand into a full resource center.
The Milligan Orchestra’s fall concert on Nov. 1 showcased a mix of Baroque, blues, and Broadway music. Students and faculty collaborated in performances that highlighted diverse musical styles and talent across campus.
Gabriel Logan, director of Student Success, Disability Services, and the Goah Scholars Program, resigned in October. The university has not disclosed details about his departure. Professor Richardson has since taken over his duties, while a town hall with President Waers is planned to discuss scholarships.

Milligan University performed its fall musical, Freaky Friday, from October 23–26 in the McGlothin-Street Theatre. Cast members including senior Ariana Floyd and fifth grader Reese Drayer said the show was a fun and valuable learning experience.
After not making the ETSU cheer team, Ramsey Greenwell was offered a spot at Milligan University, becoming its first male cheerleader in over a decade. Cheerleading at Milligan has helped him grow in confidence, faith, and community.
