The Milligan Student Government Association held their biweekly meeting in lower Seeger on Thursday evening. In student event news, SGA voted on three themes for That Big Party. The themes include New York Fashion Week, Black Tie, and Arabian nights. In the following weeks, SGA will post various polls on all their social media platforms, so the Milligan student body can vote on the official theme. Ali Burns, a sophomore student at Milligan, presented a club formation request for the Milligan Catholic club. Burns said, “I want to create a community for Catholic students and serve the community.” This club will be open to the entire student body. SGA approved Burns’ request with a 90% approval rate.

If you would like to learn more information about SGA or learn how to get involved, meetings are open to the public. Students that are non-members of SGA are welcome to attend the meetings, but cannot participate in the voting process.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday Feb. 26, in lower Seeger at 9:30 p.m.
