Milligan University is offering students the opportunity to apply to four scholarships.

Tracy Brinn, the director of scholarships, is collecting student applications until March 12.

Students can apply to the Jeremy S. Duncan Memorial Scholarship, Gabrielle R. Jones Memorial Scholarship and the Wendy I. Walstrom Memorial Scholarship by writing an essay describing what they believe their life’s calling is and how Milligan’s mission statement supports that calling. Essays should include a cover sheet with the applicant’s name, major and the names of the scholarships they are applying for.

The Guy and Rhea Oakes Scholarship is also available to students who apply by submitting an essay explaining why they recommend Milligan to their friends. A cover sheet with the applicant’s name and which scholarship they are applying for is also required.

All essays should be emailed to Tracy Brinn, the director of scholarships, at tnbrinn@milligan.edu by Friday. Find the announcement for these scholarships here, or visit the scholarships page on Milligan’s website for more information on financial aid options.
