Starting today at the toll of the 5 PM bell Milligan’s CAB will start their campus wide game of Gotcha

Gotcha is a game where students are assigned targets to track down, and they get them out by shooting them with water guns. After a student has gotten their target out, the person who was eliminated then gives their eliminator the target they were supposed to eliminate. Last person standing wins.

Campus Activity Director, Brealle Davis, said 12 students had signed up as of Monday, so she sent the registration link out to students again on Tuesday night. Students were originally notified of the event through email on Feb. 8.

Davis also spoke about why she thinks the game is important to the students.

“I think that an event like this is just special because students can do it on their own time and it’s still a way to build a community just in a passive form,” she said.

Dylan Powell, who will be participating in the event, commented on his potential to take home the victory this year.

“I’m among the class of seniors that have seen a normal year of gotcha before covid so I believe that does give me an advantage over some of the underclassmen,” he said.

He said his strategy for achieving the win is to stay inside and take paths across campus that most people do not take. Most importantly, he plans to keep one eye open at all times.

Students can register by scanning the QR code sent out to their emails, contacting Brealle Davis, or by following this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7rJTgv6-m-GDQjcdI13wBQElmTqwHd889n9x_-J_I4fawoQ/viewform?usp=pp_url
