Milligan University made program history April 8–11, winning both the men’s and women’s Division I team titles at the 2026 College Disc Golf National Championships.

The men’s team of Benjamin Wagner, Ethan Bishop, James Blocker and Zac Nelson combined for a 27-under-par performance to secure the national championship. The women’s team matched that score, as Grace Sanderson and Ari Timm also finished at 27-under to claim the Division I title.

In additional competition, Milligan’s ‘B’ team tied for ninth place in Division II. The ‘C’ and ‘D’ teams competed in Division III, finishing tied for 12th and 36th, respectively.

Individually, Bishop earned the Division I men’s All-American title, while Timm claimed the Division I women’s All-American honor.

“Winning the national title was awesome, but what really meant the most to me was the group of guys that I was able to do it with,” Nelson said. “Whether we won or lost that day, I could not be more grateful to have done it with Ben, Bishop and James. Praise God for them.”

The championships were held in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
