Milligan University’s Division III disc golf team captured its first national title at the 2025 College Disc Golf National Championship, held April 2–5 in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The Division III squad — Mitchell Moll, James Blocker, Owen Gibson and Aaron Walker — made history for Milligan with the win and a strong performance throughout the tournament.

In addition to its Division III success, Milligan also fielded teams in Division I, Division II and Division I women’s. The Division I team finished sixth, Division II placed 14th, and the women’s team secured a third-place finish.

Aaron Walker, a junior English major, expressed his gratitude following the win.

“We had a lot of fun, and we played well,” Walker said. “My three teammates are really good guys and great disc golfers. We couldn’t have done it without one another, and we couldn’t have done it without the passion and dedication that God gifted us for this sport. We’re super grateful to Him, and He gets all the glory for it.”

The championship win marks a significant milestone for the Milligan disc golf program.
